Hebrews 4:12 speaks of the Bible as being living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, and able to discern between the thoughts and intents of the heart. Isaiah 55:11 assures us that God’s Word will not return void without successfully accomplishing what He desires. As children, many of us memorized the most popular Bible verses for Sunday school.
