Book Release 11-28-22 Starting My Day on the Altar of Prayer

Welcome Back!

Welcome to My Inner Sanctuary, the place where I meet with God. My intention when I started this blog in 2007 was to share my life with anyone who might be interested in hearing about it. That was not necessarily a bad idea but as a result, I put a lot of pressure on myself to only post well-thought-out posts. There was a problem with that because it made everything seem a bit too sanitized. My realization is that sanitized storytelling is like hiding behind a façade. Now that I'm back, I want to take an entirely different approach. However, that doesn't mean I won't put together well-thought-out posts occasionally, it's just not going to be my prime focus.

Secrets To Reading The Bible

Did you ever wonder why the Bible is so hard to read? It’s simple really. God is looking for people who are willing to pursue Him. The Bible is like a gold mine. The Power of Prayer

There are several different types of prayer. In his letter to the Ephesians Paul instructed them to “pray with all types of prayer”. EPH 6:18 says “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints”

My Favorite Scriptures

I have many favorite scriptures that help me make it through this world and live each day in Christ Jesus. Here are just a few. Romans:8:28
